Word to JPG
Word does not export a page as a picture, so turning a .docx into a JPG genuinely takes two steps: convert it to a PDF, then turn that PDF into an image, one JPG per page. Both tools below are free and take a couple of minutes together.
Questions people ask
Why isn't there a single Word to JPG button?
Word has no built-in way to export a page as an image the way a PDF can, so nothing genuinely converts .docx straight to .jpg in one step. Going through PDF first is not a workaround for a missing feature here; it is the actual, real path.
Will I get one JPG or one per page?
One JPG per page. A five-page Word document becomes a five-page PDF, and PDF to JPG turns each of those pages into its own image.
Do I need an account?
Not for converting, and not at all for step 2, which runs in your browser. Word to PDF runs on our servers, so a guest signs in with a free account to download that PDF.
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
Word to PDF runs on our servers, since Word documents need Office's own layout engine to render correctly. PDF to JPG then runs in your browser. Server files are deleted 2 hours after processing.
